I am very pleased to announce that I have just published my first book, “Vegan Paris”! It’s a Kindle guidebook that includes all of the best information from the site on vegan restaurants, groceries and more in a handy package you can take with you on your phone or Kindle as you zoom around town.
It’s $2.99 from Amazon, and you can read it either on your Kindle or in the Kindle App on your iPhone/Android.
If you like the site, I’m sure you’ll like the ebook. I had a lot of fun putting it together and would appreciate any reviews or feedback!
This is perfect. We’re moving to Paris from LA for a few months and your book is perfectly timed! Can’t wait to read and eat.
this is perfect! I’m planning a trip in June and would starve without this. thanks!
Thank you! How amazing! I’m going to Paris in a week and will be OVERJOYED to have this on my Kindle with me.
Perfect – I’ll be in Paris in 3 weeks and I’m sure that this will be extremely useful! Merci!
This is a fabulous idea! I’ll be going to Paris in June and will take my copy with me! Another group you might contact about your book is a company called Paris-Flats and my contact’s name is Glen Cooper. Among many things he interviews people in Paris and has a ton of contacts. We rent our apartment from him whenever we come over.
Cheers! Viveca
Hi Emily, My name is Kristen and I moved to Paris this past September. Long story short, I was devastated to discover that kale is rarely grown or sold here. So I decided to start The Kale Project, a movement to bring kale to Paris. I’d love to feature you, your site and your new book on our site – if you’re interested, can you send me an email?

Look forward to hearing from you,

No print copy? Thanks!
Hi Zazasu, I have received a few requests for a print version so hope to get that together soon!
Found your book a week before my trip to Paris. What a lifesaver! Thank you Emily, and congratulations!
I just wanted to thank you for this profusely. My young son has anaphylactic (life-threatening) allergies to egg and dairy, so we need to keep him strictly vegan (even touching dairy or eggs gives him welts, and eating even a small amount could kill him). This has made travelling difficult and I’ve been a bit fearful to try, so to come across your site has been such a blessing! THANK YOU for what you’ve done.
Ordered the book for Kindle in the evening and didn’t stop reading till I finished. Thank you so much for your expertise. I carry a card in French with my needs. It really helps the kitchen staff at restaurants. I am following How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease eating plan which is VNO – vegan-no-oil. (nuts or avocados). Knowing where to find vegan items in Paris gives me a sense of relief. Best to your work. Elin.
Ordered your book last night and didn’t stop until I finished. This is an amazing source. I am a VNO vegan-no-oil (nor nuts or avocados) and following “How to Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease.” this is my first trip to Paris after changing to a vegan eating plan. Your book could not have come at a better juncture for me. Tip: I carry a card in French with my dietary needs. It helps the kitchen staff at restaurants and I have had some great vegan meals. If a person does not know French. Select Wisely has cards in many languages http://selectwisely.com/. Thanks so much. Elin.
Your e-book came in so handy on my Octobre 2012 trip to Paris. Because we were staying in 5eme, my favorite place to eat was Grenier de Notre Dame which I found thanks to your e-book! I really need to post a review on Amazon Kindle for you.
Thank you! I am glad you liked the book and look forward to your amazon review. By the way, I am working on adding a map to the book along with a few small updates soon.
